What is the Youth Justice Transformation Lab?

This Youth Justice Transformation Lab is a partnership between community organizations supporting or working with justice-involved Black and racialized youth. We are working to pursue strategies and models to mitigate the negative impacts of anti-Black racism and oppression in the youth justice system, and to improve access to justice for youth.

We envision a more effective, equitable and culturally competent youth justice system that is responsive to the needs, rights and perspectives of all young people, and that connects young people to supports they need.
