PEACEBUILDERS’ 2022 Spring for Peace May 5

Our 19th annual (3rd virtual) Spring for Peace event was recorded on May 5, 2022. Dwight Drummond, anchor of CBC Toronto News, was our Master of Ceremonies. Dwight brought to our audience a deep knowledge of our city and great compassion for our city’s youth. The virtual event featured a keynote address from David McCallum, featured in Ray Klonsky’s documentary David & Me. David’s story of the undying human spirit and a constant belief in hope was inspiring. Joining Dwight and David was local musician, Cody Cuisia, who performed an original composition as well as an acoustic cover of Sam Cooke’s “A Change is Gonna Come”.
