In March 2023, Ontario’s Court of Justice – Youth Court will move from its current location at 311 Jarvis St. into one of the floors of the new Toronto Courthouse at 10 Armoury St. behind Toronto’s City Hall. The new courthouse will bring together most of Toronto’s Ontario Court of Justice criminal court operations from across the city.
Peacebuilders will have two dedicated offices within the courthouse, out of which it will run its restorative court-diversion program, the Restorative Youth Circles (RYC) program. These offices will support Peacebuilders’ staff and volunteers to administer the RYC Program. The program will serve both youth and adolescents aged 10-25.
