We are recruiting young people (20-24yrs) from diverse areas of the city to work on creating community events in 4 different communities (as defined by the youth) in the city.
This a Pilot Post-COVID Youth Action Program called Bounce Back. The recruitment will target creative young people living in social housing to participate in creating community activities/events that will address the impacts of the pandemic on the mental health, to break down social isolation and develop community connections.
The young people hired, will outreach to harness and use the ideas of young people in the creation of community based events that provide systems navigation information, and support healthier community relationships with peers and adults, decrease social isolation, and build positive community leaders and mentors.
